Falls on Wildcat Creek - Rabun County |

These two falls on Wildcat Creek are beside the road. The photo for the upper falls was taken from the road. To reach the lower falls which is about 100 yards below the upper falls requires some scrambling down a steep bank to reach the area from which the top photo was made. To reach these falls from Clayton take Hwy 76 west for 11 miles to Hwy 197 on the left. Follow Hwy 197 for 5 more miles to W. Wildcat Road on the right. This will be 1.4 miles past Moccasin Creek State Park. Turn right on W. Wildcat Rd. (FS-127). Proceed on FS-127 1.4 miles to the falls. GPS and TOPO data: |
