This falls on Walden Creek in the Chattahoochee National Forest has an added bonus of a swing providing an easy way to view the falls in comfort. The falls has about a 30 ft. drop and can be reached by traveling north from Dahlonega on Ga. Hwy 60 and US Business 19 for 2 miles to Camp Wasega Rd. on the left. Take Camp Wasega Rd. 0.8 miles to Black Mtn. Rd. on the right. Follow Black Mtn. Rd. 6.5 miles and turn left on Jack Walker Rd. Follow this Rd. 0.9 miles to Carlton Gooch Rd. on the left. Go 0.2 miles on Carlton Gooch Rd. to a closed forest service rd. on the left. Park here and walk the forest service road approximately 1.2 miles to Walden Creek. The falls is upstream about 100 yds. |
