| Jigger Falls is on Jigger Creek in the Cohutta Wilderness Area. To reach the trailhead to Jigger Falls proceed north out of Chatsworth, Ga. on Hwy. US411 for 13 miles to Cisco. Turn right on OldGa2 Rd. Continue on this road (pavement ends about 1.8 miles) for 8 miles and turn right on FS51 about 300 yds after crossing over the Conasauga River. After 1.4 miles turn right on a logging road and within a few yards park after fording Jigger Creek. The falls is downstream. Follow an old logging road down stream about 0.3 miles. Just as the trail makes a sharp left leave the trail and scramble down to the creek on the right. Cross the creek and mark your crossing point to make sure this is where you cross on the return leg. After crossing Jigger Creek continue downstream to reach the falls in a few hundred yards. |
