Bernie Boyer recently took me to this beautiful waterfall that is just barely in Georgia. In fact, to reach the falls you must first be in North Carolina. To reach the falls drive from Clayton on Warwoman Road to Highway 28, a distance of about 14 miles. Turn left onto Highway 28 and go to the North Carolina line, a distance of about 6 miles. One fourth mile after entering North Carolina turn left onto an unimproved road in the community of Clear Creek. Follow this road approximately one mile to a small pull out. You will be able to hear the falls on the right. Follow the path down to the falls passing ruins of one or two buildings.
