Union County This beautiful waterfall is on the upper part of Canada Creek in the National Forest above the confluence of the Wildhog Creek and Canada Creek. The GPS coordinates and directions are shown below. |

To reach the falls on the upper part of Canada Creek proceed from Dahlonega on Hwy. 60 North approximately 16 miles and turn left onto Cooper Gap Rd. at Tritt's Store (closed) across from Woody Lake. Then go 1.6 miles and turn right on Canada Creek Road. It is best to have a 4-wheel drive for this part of the trip. Go 2.4 miles to the ford across Canada Creek passing two concrete silos shortly before reaching the ford. From this point on the directions are subject to error so be prepared to follow a topo map and the GPS coordinates below and be flexible. Cross Canada Creek and bushwhack upstream approximately 0.7 miles pass the confluence of Canada Creek with Wildhog Creek coming in from the right. Cross Canada Creek and proceed upstream 0.2 miles to the falls. Better directions to this falls will be forthcoming. GPS and Topo Data: |
