Six Gap Century Bike Ride

Each year on the last Sunday in September, the Dahlonega/Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce sponsors a bike ride throught the mountains of north Georgia. Six gaps are included with a total elevation change of 10,000 feet in 100 miles. The gaps traversed are Neels, Jacks, Unicoi, Hog Pen, Wolf Pen and Woody gaps in that order. A shorter version of the ride is the Five Gap Fifty which includes Neels, Wolf Pen and Woody gaps.
