Shooting Sports
Shooting Sports consists of five teams using the high power service rifle, air rifle, small bore rifle, pistol and shotgun. Students participating in these sports are trained in marksmanship and firearm safety through structured classes and compitition.The teams are open to all NGCSU students maintaining grade requirements and are selected through tryouts each semester . Training continues each week throughout the semester.

Selected photographs from these and other photographs on this website will be used as part of a book on the history of the military program at NGCSU being developed in a joint effort between the Military Department, History Department and the University Press of North Georgia.
